Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any time we're open. If you want, text first and David will hold your place.
How long does it take?
About 20 minutes for most cars. Call before you come and we'll tell you how busy it is.
What if my car doesn't pass?
You get a printed report that shows why. We only test, so we won't try to sell you a repair. Take the report to a mechanic you trust, get it fixed, then come back for a retest.
Do you test hybrids, diesel pickups and vans?
Yes. Cars, SUVs, hybrids, and light diesel pickups and vans. Big commercial trucks we can't do.
How do I pay?
Cash or card.
Do I need a smog check?
Three common reasons people come in.
Your renewal notice says so
The DMV notice will say "smog certification required." Bring the notice or your plate number and we take it from there.
You're buying or selling a car
In California the seller usually has to hand the buyer a smog certificate from the last 90 days. We do these every day.
You moved here from another state
A car coming into California needs a smog check before the DMV will register it. Bring your old registration or title.
